This authentic (circa 1874) one-room school was moved from Union Township in Morgan County to Malta by the Morgan County Historical Society.
It is complete with original McGuffey school books and original furnishings. The school is primarily used for “living history” days - when third and fourth grade classes come to experience an authentic day of school from the Victorian period.
